The reckoning

STORY
Kearen is a young man from the village of Darnstrium. He lives in a feudal society, rulled by the city of Gondad. In his world, there is no war, there are four known civilizations. Three of these have formed a pact, a treaty to keep the peace, but the fourth has stayed in hiding for hundreds of years.

It is a normal day when this fourth civilization declares war. Revealing itself with newly developed technology, they threaten to destroy the other countries if they don't reach their demands.
The leader of Gondad, a religious man named Lord Phalnax; contacts his fellow nations, together they create a plan they call the 'EXodus project'. To create another world based on stolen technology from the fourth nation. Here they will hide their populations, and have total control over their lives.

Kearen is sent out by his mom to gather some mushrooms from the forest. On his way, he strays and sees some cubs, investigating, he is attacked by the mother of the cubs, and killed. While he lay there dieing, he heard someone talking to him, then suddely woke up, looking different, in another place. He found a man who told him that he was in EXodus, a different world. Kearen awakes, dazed and confused, to see the same man and others carrying him back to his village.

Lord Phalnax goes to see this boy, for a revival from total death is rare, and he knows the only escaped knoledgables (People who know of EXodus) have been reviving people. Phalnax asks Kearen what he saw, but he won't tell him, because Kearen won't beleive it himself. Frustrated, Phalnax leaves, and Kearen rests.
A week later, farmer Jenkin's cart breaks down, so his mom sends him witht he payment to Phalnax, Along the way, he gets detoured into an empty pass, and is attacked by theifs, who take the payment.
Taking the fall, Kearen is banished for failure to pay, and is left in the desert to die. But he's not alone, a lone ex-executive of Phalnax, who was also banished, helps you find an old set of ruins, deep inside their caverns he findsa the man who saved his life, and this man will help him start a revenge plan, a hunt for Phalnax, and the truth behind EXodus.
At a loss, Phalnax checks the old tome that inspired the EXodus project, "The EXodus chronicals". Using its wisdom he delcares it is now the Reckoning, the beggining to the apocalypse. Phalnax prepares himself for the worst, a declares marshal law, to find the man named Kearen, and to kill him and all of his accomplises.
Characters

Kearen
Kearen was born to a rich familiy living in the farming town of Dartnstrium. His father disapeared when he was 5, but left a sword and large amount of wealth in Kearen's name when he left.

Alasia
Alasia is the daughter of Farmer Jenkins, she has an excelent eye for detail that may come in handy. She is loyal and has decided to follow Kearen to the ends of the earth.

Brett
Brett is an Ex-Executive to Phalnax, he hates the man for banishing him, and will follow Kearen to get revenge. The only problem is that he is still loyal to Phalnax, and that may cuase some problems.

Jaqui
Jaqui is the strange man who saved Kearen, he is the creator of the only active non-authorized EXodus terminal. He has a dark past, and was actuall a programmer of EXodus, before he realized what they were going to do.

Nacura
Namura is the loyal follower of Jaqui, she is an extremely smart technical engineer, and was a member of the fourth nation before the death threats began.

Lord Phalnax
Lord Phalnax is from a long line of religious names, he is actualy Lord Phalnax Enchephalus The Fourth. He owns the entire south district of the great country of gondad, many say he is the best lord to have, others say he is the worst. Lord Phalnax commissioned the EXodus project, and as a result, is the first to be sought after by the rebels.
